Social Responsibility

Office Fruit Group has a strong philosophy to support local growers and farmers, contribute to our local communities, and do everything we can to minimise or eliminate our impact on the environment.

Over 17 years of giving back.

We not only bring health and well being to workplaces. We also proudly donate and partner with Australian charities Eat Up, Oz Harvest and Salvation Army.  We work closely with employment services helping people with disabilities integrate back to work.

We use recyclable materials, minimising waste, and we have a fleet of lower emissions delivery vehicles in order to reduce our carbon footprint. Whether it’s donating surplus fruit to local food relief organisations, supporting workplace wellness programs, or partnering with charities and community initiatives, we see our role as more than just delivering fruit—we’re here to make a positive impact.

Community Contribution

Office Fruit Group aims to provide a positive contribution to the community and people around us. We do this in part by providing support to local charity initiatives, and community groups. EatUp

Eat Up is Australia’s only organisation providing free lunches to students on a national scale. Eat Up makes and delivers over ten thousand lunches directly to schools for vulnerable children.

Office Fruit Group welcomed the charity organisation Eat Up into our warehouse to use our space for their packing and storage. Office Fruit Group also supplies Eat Up with their fresh fruit to deliver to vulnerable school children across Australia. This partnership not only promotes better health outcomes for children but also supports equal access to education, regardless of socio-economic background.

Oz Harvest

OzHarvest is Australia’s leading food rescue organisation, dedicated to fighting food waste and hunger. It collects surplus, quality food from commercial outlets such as supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes, and delivers it—free of charge—to charities, schools, and community groups that support people in need. By redistributing food that would otherwise go to waste, OzHarvest not only helps feed vulnerable Australians but also reduces the environmental impact of food waste. The organisation also runs education and advocacy programs to promote sustainable food practices and build awareness about food insecurity.

Office Fruit Group proudly donates surplus fruit and milk to OzHarvest on a regular basis, helping to prevent food waste and ensure that nutritious supplies are redirected to people in need.

Salvation Army & Hamodava Café

Hamodava is a homeless 24 hour café in the Melbourne CBD run by the Salvation Army, it is a welcoming community centre providing breakfast and lunch, as well as support to people from all walks of life.   It is a community-focused initiative located in Melbourne’s CBD that provides meals and support to people experiencing homelessness and hardship.

By regularly donating fresh fruit to the café, Office Fruit Group helps ensure that vulnerable individuals have access to healthy, nutritious food options in a safe and welcoming environment.
