- 1/3 cup Dried Cranberries
- 2 tbsp Honey or Maple Syrup
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 tsp Fresh Thyme Leaves
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Optional: Chopped Walnuts or Pecans, for topping
Baked pears with goat’s cheese and cranberries are a simple yet elegant dish. Tender, oven-roasted pears are filled with creamy goat’s cheese and tangy cranberries, then lightly baked until golden. Perfect as a starter, light meal, or dessert, this recipe balances sweet and savoury flavours beautifully.

Instructions:
1 Prepare the Pears
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Cut the pears in half lengthways and scoop out the cores, creating a small hollow. Place pear halves cut-side up in a baking dish.
2 Fill and Season
- Drizzle the pears with olive oil or melted butter and season lightly with salt and pepper. Sprinkle cranberries into the hollows, then crumble goat’s cheese over each pear. Drizzle with honey or maple syrup and sprinkle with thyme.
3 Bake and Serve
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the pears are tender and lightly caramelised. Remove from the oven and top with nuts if using. Serve warm on their own, with a fresh green salad, or alongside roasted meats.
